1.Copy the file / folder address you wish to compress.
2.Run nanozip.exe, paste the file address, press enter.
3.Select the folder you want to compress and click Add/Apply.
5.Check Create SFX archive box.
6.Enter Compression tab, choose the compressor based on your CPU.
Intel Extreme Edition ---> nz_cm
Core i5/Core i7/Core 2 Quad ---> nz_optimum2
Core i3/Core 2 Duo/Pentium Dual-Core ---> nz_optimum1
Atom/Celeron/Pentium 4 ---> nz_lzhds
7.Set Memory usage to Custom (MB),enter half memory amount of your RAM.
1GB RAM ---> 512MB
2GB RAM ---> 1024MB
3GB RAM ---> 1536MB
4GB RAM ---> 2048MB
6GB RAM ---> 3072MB
8GB RAM ---> 4096MB
8.When everything is ready, press OK to start your compression.
- Avoid using computer during compression. It will be laggy to you since the memory usage is high.
- Turn off your antivirus to prevent not responding or false positive virus detect.
- It's normal to the progress bar move very slowly cause it's the progress bar reading is very slow.
- You may change the Compresser setting if your compression is extremely slow.
- Every single file has its own compression ratio.
Compressor options explanation:
nz_lzpf provide the best compression speed but weak compression ratio.
nz_cm provide the best compression ratio but slow compression speed.
